Clinical Advisory Board

For expert advice and support of the clinical development of its products, FIBREX has assembled a Clinical Advisory Board composed of world-renowned cardiologists. All members have designed and performed important clinical trials in the pharmacotherapy of coronary heart disease.

Prof. Dr. Dan Atar, Chairman
Prof. Atar is Head of Cardiology, Aker University Hospital, Oslo, Norway. He is also Chairman of the Working Group 3 (Cardiovascular Pharmacology and Drug Therapy) of the European Society of Cardiology and Associated Editor of 'Cardiology'.

Prof. Christopher B. Granger, MD
Prof. Granger is Associate Professor in the Division of Cardiology, Duke Medical Center, in Durham, North Carolina. He also is Co-Director, Clinical Trials, Duke Clinical Research Institute, and one of the most experienced trialists in the field of of coronary interventions and adjunct therapies.

Prof. Dr. Kurt Huber
Prof. Huber is Head of Cardiology at the Wilhelminenspital in Vienna, Austria. In addition, he is the Secretary of Austrian Cardiology Society.

Prof. Dr. Adnan Kastrati
Prof. Kastrati is Senior Consultant and Investigator at the German Heart Center in Munich, one of leading centers of interventional cardiology centers in Europe.

Prof. Stephen L. Kopecky, MD
Prof. Kopecky is at the Cardiovascular Diseases Department of the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. He is also the Medical Director of the Mayo Alliance for Clinical Trials, a network of >700 eminent clinical researchers across the U.S.

PD Dr. Jürg Schwitter
Dr. Schwitter is an expert in cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI); he works at the University Hospital of the University of Zurich, Switzerland. For his work in this field he received the prestigious Pfizer award in 2002.
